Surface preparation

Ensure all surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry
Remove all loose and flaking paint
Areas affected by mould must be treated with a fungicidal wash
Remove the bubbles and blisters by light sanding and scraping.
Remove any dust and dirt.
Patch prime if necessary.

Do not apply to roofs which act as catchments for drinking water, unless the water from the first 2 or 3 rains can be discarded. Rainwater caught from an fleshly painted roof will have an unpleasant taste.
Do not apply when temperature is less than 10°C.
Do not apply directly to unprimed galvanised surfaced under coastal conditions
Do not apply to powdery or friable surfaces irrespective of whether the surface is new, cold or previously painted.
