Primer for New Steel

Dulux Primer for Steel is a high quality general-purpose corrosion resistant metal primer.

Surface preparation

All surfaces must be clean and dry. Remove mill oil with a suitable degreaser.
Surfaces must be clean and dry before priming.
Surface rust may be removed by wire brushing or thorough sanding

How to use

Follow primer with undercoat for all surfaces
Ready for use with brush or roller. Brush application preferred to ensure thorough wetting of the surface.
Thinner: (if required) use Mineral Turpentine.

Not designed to withstand natural weathering. It should be overcoated within 1 week particularly in a marine atmosphere
Do not paint during wet or cold weather
